International Pressure for Pastor Youcef’s Release is Having an Impact on Iran
Governments, Media, Social Media and Countless Individuals Unite on Behalf of Iranian Pastor
WASHINGTON, Feb. 27, 2012—Human rights leaders, government officials and international media from across the globe have joined the effort to secure pastor Youcef Nadarkhani's release. The pastor, who has been held captive for more than two years, is under a death sentence in Iran for refusing to recant his Christian faith. The American Center for Law and Justice's (ACLJ's) Tweet for Youcef program is reaching nearly 750,000 Twitter accounts in over 86 percent of the world's nations. (View infographic.)
