Founded: 1965 by Colonel Jack Fain, U.S. Air Force, Retired
Purpose: Military Ministry works with military chaplains, commanders and churches across America in caring for the spiritual well-being of troops and their families before, during and after deployment
Scope: Military Ministry currently works with deployed units (ships, flight lines and foxholes), as well as military installations and communities in 50 states, two territories and 25 countries
Staff: Some 400 full and part-time staff and hundreds of volunteers serve across the United States and around the world

Military Ministry Programs:
- Bridges to Healing Seminars - Church-based seminars designed to equip and mobilize people to care for members of the military who are suffering from combat trauma
- Faith Development Programs for Military Members - Military Ministry partners with Chaplains to spiritually nurture members of the US military at recruit training bases (boot camps), service academies, R.O.T.C. campuses and operational bases
- Military Marriage Seminars - Weekend-long seminars designed to strengthen the relationships of military couples

- Ministering to the Military; A Guide for Churches - Educates and empowers churches to be more effective and intentional in caring for the military
- Small Group Study Curriculum - Prepares military couples with the necessary tools to successfully navigate today's demanding military lifestyle
- When War Comes Home - Offers comfort and practical help to the wives of combat veterans, including insights from the medical and counseling community and the shared experiences of other military wives
