Paul Pennington Co-Founder, Hope for Orphans
Paul Pennington is the Executive Director of Hope for Orphans, a ministry of FamilyLife that equips local churches to build orphan care ministries and address the global orphan crisis. Pennington and his wife Robin co-founded Hope for Orphans in 2003, before merging with FamilyLife in 2004.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Pennington has led adoption and orphans ministry workshops across the United States and is a national speaker on adoption and orphan ministry issues.
In addition to his role at FamilyLife, Pennington serves on the Board of Directors for the Christian Alliance for Orphans, an association of Christian adoption agencies, orphan care ministries, media, foundations and advocacy groups.
He is the co-author of the book Launching An Orphans Ministry in Your Church (FamilyLife, 2008).
Pennington has been married thirty-one years and has six children, five of whom the Lord brought through adoption, and nine grandchildren.
