Out4Life Re-Entry Conferences
Each year, some 700,000 people are released from America's prisons; 9 million are released from jails. However, most ex-offenders are not prepared or equipped to live productive lives outside of prison walls. As a result, two-thirds will be arrested again within three years-a financial and public safety crisis-for a new crime or for violating the terms of their release.
In an effort to reverse this trend, Prison Fellowship is leading a national prisoner re-entry movement called Out4Life. By coordinating successful prisoner re-entry services, Out4Life will reduce recidivism, increase public safety, reduce spiraling corrections spending and help released inmates become productive members of society. Visit Out4Life.com for details about how this movement is reducing government spending and preventing future crime in America.
