Founded in 1937 as Atlanta Christian College, Point University is a private, four-year liberal arts institution preparing students to influence all sectors of culture for Christ. It will relocate its traditional campus from East Point, Ga., to West Point, Ga., in 2012, maintaining adult and dual-credit locations in East Point and Peachtree City. The university plans to launch a satellite location in Savannah in fall 2011. Accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), Atlanta Christian College offers associate and bachelor's degrees in 11 areas of study.
